HR Executive

Role Summary:
To assist HR & Admin Manager in the areas of Human Resource such as Recruitment, Training & Development, Attendance and Employee Engagement activities for the group, as well as to assist in the company events.

Job Description:
1. Recruitment


  • Understanding manpower requisition from the concerned department

  • Understanding the requirement and accordingly drafting a job description and getting it approved from the concerned person

  • Sourcing candidates that match the desired skills

  • Screening the candidates by conducting telephonic or personal interviews as the case may be

  • Encouraging the employees to provide reference for better prospects

  • Arranging for interview and coordinating with the concerned person

  • Communicating the employment status to the applied candidates

  • Maintaining and updating the database of the candidates

  • Conduct background verification of the shortlisted candidates

2. Training & Development


  • Assist in pre-training, during training and post training activities (eg: payment preparation, coordination and documentation preparation)

  • Prepare training materials, training room setup and training evaluation report

  • Conduct New Staff Orientation

  • Send out reminder of training timely

  • Assist in Training Need Analysis implementation

3. Attendance & Leave Records


  • Keeping a track of the attendance of the employees

  • Monitor the shift schedule for operation staff

  • Filing the leave forms and keeping a track of the leaves taken

4. Employee Engagement


  • Planning events or activities regularly or on some occasions, getting those approved by senior management and implementing those

  • Assist in welfare activities such as to prepare condolence money or etc.

5. Others


  • Assist in Company’s IT System and external service provider(s) to ensure efficient functioning of the Company’s email system, online databases and backup systems.

  • Assist in various employee benefit programs, such as group insurance, life, medical and dental, and etc.

  • Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Management

Requirements:


  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent

  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

  • Fresh graduates or junior position with one year of working experience in the related field is required for this position

  • Committed, analytical, self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Good communication and interpersonal skill, meticulous, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • A team player with high degree of honesty and integrity
