Our client is well known international main contractor from Singapore with over 20 years of history. They have grown rapidly to become a key regional player in the Plant, Utility and Marine civil engineering sector. They have have left a trail of landmark projects across Asia and are excited to begin work on a new RM 2bn + coal power station.
the role
Reporting to the Country Construction Director, you are tasked with the overall design and coordination of the designated projects. You will need strong technical management processes to be successful here.
skills & responsibilities
• Promote & Enforce in implementation on all aspect of the Project Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Management
• To lead and guide all SHE subordinates on the measures taken in the interest of Project Occupational Safety &
Health on site.
• Manage all activities relating to the development, distribution and implementation of the policies related to SHE at
site and HQ level
• Lead and supervise all formal site inspections and or monitoring as per the weekly inspection / monitoring
schedules
• Design and create weekly inspection / monitoring schedules
• Provide rectification and or advisory recommendations within the inspection report
Requirements
- 7 – 10 years working experience in Safety
- Must be an active Green book holder
- Able to read and write in English and Malay
- MUST have worked in the Plant, Utility and Marine civil engineering sector
- Strong references in your HSE skills needed
