About The Company

Our client is focusing in e commerce platform for real estate. We are currently helping them to expand their IT team based in KL who will be responsible in developing and improving their business’ applications

Duties:

• Ensures quality of new and existing mobile apps/websites/web services of the business.


• Review requirement specification provided by product owners and scrum master during the initiation and planning of a project.


• Develop, document, execute and optimize test plans based on functional/non‐functional requirements specified.


• Detect software bugs and resolve issues in a timely manner, including managing customer support tickets.


• Reproduce reported issues and perform root cause analysis to assist in resolution of bugs.


• Maintain list of software defects.


• Provides full transparency to stakeholders via test results, summaries and quality statements.


• Conduct research and evaluate software testing tools and utilities.


• Will develop and lead the test automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing.


• To design, build and maintain Continuous Integration infrastructure/tools/processes.


• To lead and mentor team members in software quality assurance practices and methodologies.

Skills & Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology, related technical discipline, or equivalent


• Preferably with 5 years of working experiences as software test engineer in web based apps development or mobile apps testing


• Strong knowledge in Functionality , Feature , Performance , Stress and Security testing


• Strong knowledge in Integration , System and User Acceptance testing


• Knowledge in testing methodologies and best practices.


• Strong technical background and scripting skills (Java, Javascript).


• Knowledge in tools for test automation and Continuous Integration, including IDEs (Xcode, Eclipse, Android Studio), Github, Jenkins, Instruments, Gradle, DHC REST Client, etc.


• Knowledge in Scrum testing methodologies.


• Knowledge in frameworks for mobile test automation, including Appium, Selendroid, Selenium,
