This company is one of the big guys in authorized distribution of end user products by some of the key brands used by Malaysians. Being in the country for its’ 27th year, the organization has left footsteps throughout the nation. Their offices are present in multiple states in both West and East Malaysia.

about the role
The finance manager will be reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD) which is also the founder of the organization while leading a team of 13. The Finance Manager are expected to be someone conscientious and detail oriented. The director is looking for a leader that is able to balance between hands on and delegation of tasks.

duties & responsibilities

• Accountable for all accounting and finance operations


• Overseeing GST related matters


• Monitoring of cash flow, credit control, tax planning, compliance and treasury activities


• Manage and delegate task among a team of 15 executives and admin clerks


• Responsible in timely and accurate reporting and closing of accounts and financial information


• Provide analysis support to the Director and point out area of concerns whenever required


• To liaise with related parties in matters in relation to accounting and finance of the organization

skills & experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business


• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ CPA/ MIA/ MICPA/ or equivalent)


• Ability to converse in mandarin is a huge bonus as position requires communication with foreign subsidiaries which predominantly speaks only Mandarin


• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience
