my client is one of the top ten and leading architecture consultancy firms in Malaysia. They are mainly involved in high rise and commercial projects. The role has arisen due to more projects coming into the business.

job description

1. Understand design concept

• Agree critical aspects of concept / scheme design with designer


• Receive and understand QS budget allocation.

2. Prepare and manage the production of :

• Design Development drawings and specification


• Tender documentation for preparation of BOQ


• Working drawing for construction information

3. Receive briefing for all appointed consultants and proceed to develop drawings with

technical input and cost advice.

• Arrange Technical co-ordination meetings

4. Understand code requirements built into Schematic Design

• Develop response to code requirements within design development.

5. Receive the overall strategies programme and contribute detailed minor programme for the

DD/TD/FC phase.

6. Chair the CCM/TCM/SM and all other principal meetings; checking preparation of MOM

7. Prepare manpower requirements for various stages; allocating tasks to appropriate stage.

8. Monitor the programme and report to the relevant parties on the progress, changes and any

delay issues.

requirements

• Architectural Degree from a recognised and accredited university


• Minimum 5 years of working experience


• At least a Part 2 architect
