The role

You will be confident in your abilities and have prior, recent experience on high value projects and have an up to date knowledge of the industry and the expectations involved. You will have to lead the QA/QCteam. You will be given full autonomy.

Duties

Our client is looking for a highly driven QA MANAGER with strong focus on project delivery and profitability to be based in Selangor.

• Manage and control daily operations QA Department.


• Lead and guide the staffs.


• Develop and deployment of quality strategy, strongly analytical in raw material classifications, and development of new product formulations


• To conduct analyze daily, verify daily quality issues in production, working together with production department to maintain the product quality standard.


• To guide the QA personnel on identify, evaluate the root cause of product quality issues and recommend preventive and corrective actions.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge within the Malaysian construction industry and must be able to show the following:

• Must possess a Bachelor Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or its equivalent. With at least 5 years’ experience in food processing/manufacturing background.


• Strong understanding of HACCP/ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System and GMP Management.


• Ability to lead, coach and motivate the R&D and QC team.


• Good communication in Chinese and English with multilingual ability, both orally and writing.


• Ability to educate, train and familiarize the company’s product quality standards.


• Good presentation skills and able to work independently.
