M&E Manager - High Rise projects - Kuala Lumpur

My client is a major Building company with numerous projects throughout Malaysia. The company has been trading since 1976 and their principal activities include civil works, building construction and turnkey contracting. They are capable of undertaking a wide range of projectys as they possess the expertise for ground works/piling works, infrastructure works, superstructure and finishing works. As a whole, the capabilities of the group will save costs and time for their customers and also ensure quality control is consistently exercised throughout the construction process.


The role is to play a major part in the companies M&E team. To interface and coordinate with contract design, construction and estimating resources to enable facility development of design concepts.


Duties will include –


  • Being responsible for scope development, engineering and design along with appointed consultants to enable the construction of various buildings, facilities and the installation of M&E services.

  • Responsible for the engineering and design review of electrical systems and various mechanical systems.

  • Other responsibilities include the construction period supervision of safety, schedule, QAQC, commissioning and engineering support of all construction activities.

Skills and experience required –


  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • Ability to perform M&E Coordination works and clash analysis.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E experience.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Pro-active and self motivated with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
