We are urgently hiring for Purchasing Manager Asia Reg HQ – Permanent, for one of the top Electronic Manufacturing MNC in Malaysia. The Job Description is provided below

Location: Multiple roles – Shah Alam (2) and Nilai (1)
Position: Senior
Expected to travel (30%) of time, within Asia Pacific

the role

• Plan and schedule material demands to obtain maximum achievement of On Time Delivery and Optimum Inventory level


• Ensure material plans are met, remedial plans are essential for bottle neck situation


• Responsible for material load and monitoring of supplier performance


• Responsible for material forecast to vendor


• Responsible for the purchases of product/non product materials to support the manufacturing activities and fulfill customer needs and requirements

– Liaise closely with planner to ensure POR are met

– Liaise closely with planner to ensure S&OP project requirements are monitored

-Review the buying of raw materials and components with approved supplier and expediting delivery of materials and components purchased

the requirement

Possess a Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline.

• Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.


• Strong working knowledge of computerized MRP system prefered


• Possess good communication skills and able to interact with people of all levels and section.


• Self-motivated with determination to succeed and ability to meet deadline and work under


• pressure is a definite advantage.


• Familiar with ISO9000 standard requirement/quality awareness
