About the Company:
My Client is a specialist in Civil & Structural works in the Construction industry, and a high level of expertise in all forms of bridge construction and design. Their innovative and cost effective bridge designs have ensured they are on the winner’s list for their competitive projects. 

Core responsibilities:
1. To develop civil and structural engineering design plans and specifications associated for steel and concrete bridge structures.
2. To carry out and review engineering designs and structural analysis for steel and concrete bridge structures.
3. To carry out site investigation and inspection and solve site problems.
4. To lead and mentor junior engineers.
5. To ensure successful delivery of projects by liaising and coordinating with cross-discipline interfaces
5. To liaise with clients in providing technical solutions and value engineering solutions at both project and tender stage.
6. To check and sign bridge design works before issue.
7. To undertake technical tasks in accordance with the company’s quality, safety and project management/engineering procedures and controls.

Essential requirements:
1. Must have over 5 years’ experience in Civil& Structural role for Bridge design.
2. Must have experience of working within a Consultancy.
2. Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent but Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also preferred.
3. Well versed with engineering software like MIDAS, AutoCad 2D & 3D, StaadPro, Esteem,Orion etc.
4. Understand the dynamics of working with a Team and possess Knowledge of client liaisoning and building relationships.
5. Hold track record in major projects.
6. Be an effective communicator in English, both written and spoken, with all levels of staff and clients.
7. Require to travel nationally and internationally as needed for any project.
