Job descriptionRole & responsibilities:· Establish a professional and consultative relationship with client executives and effectively articulate IBM’s value proposition· Drive thought leadership internally and externally and evangelize IBM’s security expertise publicly· Oversee and manage the successful planning and execution of delivery projects in the practice portfolio· Identify and contribute towards developing the broader delivery capability of the practice· Collaborate with security sellers to drive the overall performance of the C&SI security portfolio performance · Lead opportunity identification and qualification activities, progressing deals through to signing with the sales team· Own and develop solution design for proposals and statements of work that aligns to the client needs· Negotiate with clients to incorporate changes to client requirements in contracts and engagement scope· Involved deeply with security sales leader and offering manager in bids engagements.· Demonstrates high awareness of security issues and promptly develop white paper to recommend solution/s for IBM’s broader clients/prospects. · Conduct high level security enablement sessions for sellers.Other Requirements:· Experience building relationships with C-level executives (CIOs/CISOs/VPs of Risk) · Experience of participating in knowledge sharing activities like industry conferences · Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate and influence across all management and organizational levels both internally and externally· Proven ability to produce clear, concise, accurate written communication · Ability to travel 50%, with capability to adapt to diverse work environments, new assignments, systems and tools, as needed· Expected to be focused and meet timelines for all engagements.Desirable:· In-depth knowledge of a specific competency and/or industry, as required (e.g.Network Security, Infrastructure Security, SIEM )· At least 8 years experience in IT Security with deep understanding of challenges, technologies, trends and business issues.
