About Our Client

Our client is a multinational company across 86 countries with more than 61 years of history within the transportation industry.  With the expansion of the business, they are currently looking for an experience Account Manager to be part of their team.


About the Role

The Accounts Manager will be reporting to the Finance Director and will be working closely with the team mates. Your responsibilities include:


  • Maintain a comprehensive process for the monthly reporting

  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register including posting additions, disposals and depreciation

  • Process all suppliers’ payment and oversee the account payables matters

  • Supervising the Purchase Ledger, Payroll and Sub-contractor Ledger functions

  • Prepare Cash Book transactions and Bank Reconciliations 

  • Liaising with relevant parties such as external auditors

 
To be a Successful Candidate
To be a successful candidate, you need to possess:

  • At least a Degree majoring in Accounting and / or Finance, or other relevant disciplines

  • Professional qualification such as ACCA / CPA / ICAEW / CIMA would be an added advantage

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience within the transportation industry 

  • Able to work within the tight deadlines and dynamic environment 

  • Able to write and speak fluently in English and Malay

  • Able to work independently and also as a team

  • Being sharp, diligent and mature in handling your work
