About Our Client

Our client is the one of the leaders within the industrial supplies industry and they are currently looking for an experience leader to be part of their team.

About the Role

The Financial Controller will be reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the 3 Finance Managers and a huge Finance Team. Your responsibilities include:

• Oversees the company treasury, accounting, reporting and operations


• Prepare and coordinate Group Consolidation and present to the Management Team


• Ensure reconciliation of all bank and control accounts


• Ensure all financial transactions are processed and consolidated 


• Prepare the management accounts and making sure that it is in line with the monthly accounting timetable


• Devolve operational reporting and ownership of budgets


• Involve with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts


• Review the fund allocation for all subsidiaries and branches


• Liaising with external parties such as bankers, tax agents and auditor

   
To be a Successful Candidate

To be a successful candidate, you need to possess:

• At least a Degree majoring in Accounting and / or Finance, or other relevant disciplines


• Possess Professional qualification such as ACCA / CPA / ICAEW / CIMA


• Minimum 7 years of working experience (in industrial supplies industry will be added advantage)


• Working experience with the Big 4 and / or other audit firm


• Able to work within the tight deadlines and dynamic environment 


• Able to write and speak fluently in English and Malay


• Able to handle clients from China and Taiwan


• Able to liaise with people from all levels (executive to top management)


• Able to work independently and also as a team


• Being sharp, diligent and mature in handling your work
