Job Description

• 
  

  Review, interpret prescriptions, manage medication processing, and ensure safe and timely dispensing

  
  


• 
  

  Organize and direct pharmacy technicians workflow, verifying preparations and labelling, order entries, charges and inspections

  
  


• 
  

  Manage inventory and stock take duties

  
  


• 
  

  Manage and mentor pharmacy technicians in professional development and job functions

  
  


• 
  

  Facilitate pharmacy staffing and ensure staff/technicians receive appropriate training

  
  


• 
  

  Facilitate key meetings with stakeholders in relation to pharmacy product offerings

  
  


• 
  

  Manage process improvement projects

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and ensure regulatory compliance with company policies, regulations and practices

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure efficiency in meeting customer product and service standards

  
  


• 
  

  Formulate new product offerings in collaboration with key pharmacy stakeholders

  
  


• 
  

  Source for materials, products and suppliers in line with pharmacy cost efficiencies and customer desirables

  
  

Job Requirements

• 
  

  Bachelors degree in Pharmacy

  
  


• 
  

  Active Pharmacist license in Malaysia

  
  

• 
  

  At least 2-4 years experience in hospital/retail pharmacy/manufacturing environments preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to handle retail, compounding environments and shift work where necessary

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read, write and speak English and Malay

  
  


• 
  

  Working knowledge of key software tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent organizational skills in handling multiple priorities and meeting objectives

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent written and verbal customer service skills

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent analytical skills
