Our client is a GLC company operating throughout the world and currently one of the largest company in Malaysia and they are currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Head of Department – Corporate Sales. This company are consistently expanding their portfolio and this is a very unique opportunity in Malaysia which will elevate your career.


about the role


Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will help oversee all the sales objectives including driving the team to achieve the target of their portfolio, covering several area througout Malaysia.


duties



  • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results



  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products



  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.



  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.



  • Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.



  • Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.



  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


skills & experience


For this exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will have proven experience in the following:



  • Preferably coming from lubricant sales background / other related industry



  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills



  • Good business sense



  • The ability to motivate and lead a team



  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm



  • Excellent communication skills



  • Good planning and organisational skills



  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
