Leasing Manager – Retail Development

Company

• One of Malaysia’s biggest listed companies with significant portfolio of retail properties are currently looking for a motivated Leasing professional to join their team. The company has aggressive expansion plans to open a further 5 new shopping malls by 2020.

Role

• You will be setting division objectives, planning and implement strategies to increase occupancy and revenue for the mall, and subsequent new malls in the company’s portfolio.


• Reporting into the Director of Leasing

Skills & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Property Management, Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or equivalent.


• Good network with leading retailers and previous experience in marketing, promotion or centre management is an advantage.


• Good grasp of leasing principles, including retail market and product offer development (malls/tenants).


• Excellent interpersonal skills and solid grasp of English, Cantonese and Mandarin; with ability to effectively communicate and motivate via written media.


• Computer literate and competent in writing business letters and proposals.


• Possesses mathematical skills to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance.
  Able to read and interpret documents such as tenancy agreements, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
