Front Office Executive/Assistant


Job Description:


OVERVIEW:-
First – and last – impressions count and you’ll be responsible for helping us make the very best possible. Front office staff are often the first people guests meet. You might be checking people in, dealing with questions or complaints, so you’ll need to be friendly, flexible and happy to help. People like you make a hotel service memorable for all the right reasons.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø  Register guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
Ø  Dealing with customers, check-in, check-out and including handling complaints when they come to the desk.
Ø  Assists in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
Ø  Understands room status and room status tracking.
Ø  Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
Ø  Uses proper telephone etiquette.
Ø  Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
Ø  Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.
Chinese speaking is added advantage.
