HOD Science - Malaysia

Our client is a leading international school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The school caters for a mix of expat and local children from middle and upper class families and is viewed as one of the leading institutions in the country on all measures.

Due to the current post holder’s contract coming to an end, a Head of Department in Science is required to start in January 2016. Whilst managing a small team of four teachers, you will develop and manage the Science curriculum across years 6 to 12. Your prime responsibility is the development of practices to ensure continuity of teaching, assessment and monitoring across all year groups.

You will work as a subject specific expert on the curriculum leadership team of the Middle and Senior school. You will also be responsible for making recommendations to the Principal regarding resources and budget.

The Principal is looking to appoint ASAP where a minimum two year contract is to be made available. A negotiable salary relevant to your qualifications and experience is to be offered. Accommodation, flights, gratuity, medical cover, tuition fees for children and work visa is also included.
