| Job description |
| Provide accounting support to countries in the Asia Pacific region including the following areas: – 1. Prepare tax computation and provision in accordance with US GAAP, country GAAP and local tax regulatory requirement 2. Comply with US and country statutory and tax reporting requirements 3. Provide periodic tax reports to US headquarters 4. Provide advise and counsel to management on US and country GAAP and guidelines 5. Perform journal entry into ledger, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, analysis of significant movements on tax items and related matters 6. Perform self-inspection on work areas and implement measures to ensure compliance to IBM and country accounting practices and guidelines |
