Property Manager - Company Confidential Property Manager Company Confidential Min 8 years (Manager) Malaysia - Selangor - Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya JOB DESCRIPTION At least 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Applicants must be willing to work in Kelana Jaya,Petaling Jaya.Preferably Managers specializing in Property/Real Estate or equivalent.This is a Full-Time position with responsibilities troughout Southeast Asia and will require frequent travel throughout Asia. The candidate will be responsible for the monitoring, coordination, and administration of the property protection activities that are essential in preventing accidental loss at the corporation’s facilities throughout Asia.Domestic or international travel will be required.Responsible for monitoring loss prevention systems maintenance and testing, coordinating property loss prevention activities, and working with third party engineers and corporate Risk Management to plan and conduct property protection inspections. Duties will include assisting in the design, inspection, testing, and maintenance of property protection devices and systems.Review of loss prevention activities and documentation including hot work permit procedures, fire protection impairment notification, valve inspections, and housekeeping to control combustible loading.Evaluate and test fire protection water supplies and conduct hydraulic analyses of fire sprinkler systems.Review of construction site plans and building plans for compliance with fire protection codes, standards, and policies.Responsible for facility project plan review to ensure appropriate property protection systems and devises are included in the design phase of expansion and new construction. Provide technical advice to personnel, to assist in the selection of appropriate property protection systems and devices as needed.Work with insurer’s representatives to coordinate property loss control inspections.Work with personnel and insurance representatives to prioritize and address property exposures.Participate in business development, mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture projects.Other duties may be assigned.Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.QualificationsEngineering knowledge of industrial facilities and systems, including fire protection systems, electrical systems, mechanical systems, production machinery, process chemistry, fuel fired equipment, boilers and pressure vessels, and fundamentals of building construction. Requires experience in interpreting natural hazard maps such as flood maps, wind maps, earthquake maps, etc.Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Fire Protection, or related field of study and 5 years experience in Property Engineering.Perform hydrant and fire pump flow tests, read architectural drawings, sketch sprinkler systems, do hydraulic calculations and automatic sprinkler plan reviews.Computer, Software, Tools, Equipment, and Machinery SkillsPC, monitor, keyboard, mouse/trackball, phone, fax, copier, stapler and calculatorIntermediate skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, internet and emailClearly communicate in verbal and written formsRead, analyze, and interpret documents such as general business periodicals, insurance policies, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsMathematical Skills, able to:
