Job description
  1. Core – Offering support and guidance on how to set up legal contracts; incentive programmes and rebate structures that will appropriately drive growth for our client’s distributors and ensure the company meets it’s financial objectives

  2. Marketing – Capable of developing Joint Business plans with distributors and then managing them / reviewing on an on-going basis. To include: prospect pipeline; product mix analysis to support sales and marketing campaigns; develop business cases for marketing investment in joint activities with distributors

  3. Cash Conversion Cycle – Develops a good understanding of the client’s financials and how to influence them through distributor management. Understand the customer service / order management processes from the clients and Distributor perspective and how they can support that. Can demonstrate experience in helping with cash management and takes a proactive role in working with the clients credit teams to secure customer payments.

  4. Business Development – Comfortable to leverage new tools and technology that will help bring the client and it’s partner distributors closer together. The objective is to improve business performance, grow capability and enhance the clients reach cost effectively

Desired Skills and Experience

  1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science , Marketing Management or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years professional development in a B2B sales and marketing environment, supporting consumable product markets.

  2. 5+ years in a global/ regional role where the individual successfully grew channel sales as part of the route to market mix. Market must have been products and or services into a B2B consumable market.

  3. Business Development or Sales or Account Management experience will be a plus

  4. Leadership and People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a matrix environment. Capable of leading and developing colleagues
