Our Client is an extremely specialized Design and Build subcontractor and is one of the top 5 bridge builders in Malaysia. With over 20 years of strong presence in Malaysia, they have been delivering high valued bridge projects of worth RM 1 billion. They also have left their successful mark in high rise projects like for 77 story high rise and KL tower.

about the role:

Our client is looking for experienced Bridge Design Engineers to hire for the position of Technical Executive Engineer. You would be supervising the Technical Engineers in daily tasks and site queries and calculations. You would also be responsible for heading the submissions team of Request of Information for projects.

The role requires a strong ‘hands on’ approach and the ability to apply professional engineering knowledge and experience to deliver particularly Cost Efficient Bridge Projects.

duties:

• Submit design deliverables for approval and Request of Information.


• Assist Technical manager to supervise Technical Engineer in daily tasks.


• Assist Technical Manager in Site Technical queries and calculations.


• Liaise with consultants, sub-consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.


• Attend site-HQ meeting and review design report and drawings.

skills & experience:

• Must have over 5 years of Bridge Design consulting experience.


• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent but Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also preferred.


• Must be registered with the Board of Engineers (BEM) or Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).


• Have experience in managing 2 – 3 people.


• Mandarin speaking is essential.
