Our client is an FMCG company offering a range of consumer products – Milk Powder, Evaporated & Condensed Milk, Soaps, Detergent Powder, Cooking Oil, Margarine & Shortening, Palm Oil besides traded products like soft grains, building material & paper.


About the role


Reporting to the Regional HR Manager and supervised by the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing the compensation, benefits and rewards for the company, analyse compensation data within an organization and evaluates job positions to determine classification and salary. You will also be accountable in administering employee insurance, benefits in kind, tax implications, policies, benefits, and payroll. Some of the incumbent’s key accountabilities include:


  • Design, implement, and manage salary classification and compensation programs. Good knowledge in job grading and benefits align with the grading

  • Conduct analysis of compensation and benefits within company, group & market benchmarking

  • Advise on position classifications, salary scale and base pay.

  • Oversee competitive analysis, merit increases, annual rewards and salary structure.

  • Analyse surveys to ensure appropriate compensation across the organization.

  • Forecast budget for salary increases and annual rewards

  • Master of employee insurance plans and annual renewal

  • Advise on salary increase requests

  • Advise employees on benefits and compensation policies, tax regulations & implications, insurance & performance management system

  • Acts as a master of policies. Develop new policies, implementation, periodic review and effectiveness

  • Monthly payroll supervision.

  • Be the champion for year-end appraisal activity, KPI’s, rewards and annual reports

  • Good exposure in implementing KPI’s and performance management rewards structure

Skills & Experiences


  • You should possess at least 6 – 7 years working experience purely in Compensation & Benefits

  • You must be in a junior management position for at least 2 years

  • Had an exposure in C & B within group of companies

  • Is meticulous and sharp in numbers

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must be able to handle complex concerns and must be willing to work in a Family Business Organization

  • Well versed in local tax policies

  • Knowledgeable in managing expatriate benefits management is required

  • Candidates with regional exposure in both C&B and payroll are encouraged to apply
