About Our Client

Our client is a multinational company in the logistics industry.  With the expansion of the business, they are currently looking for an experience Accountant to be part of their team.

About the Role

• The Accountant will be reporting to the Finance Manager and will be working closely with the team mates. Your responsibilities include:


• Maintain a comprehensive process for the monthly reporting


• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register including posting additions, disposals and depreciation


• Process all suppliers’ payment and oversee the account payables matters


• Supervising the Purchase Ledger, Payroll and Sub-contractor Ledger functions


• Prepare Cash Book transactions and Bank Reconciliations 


• Liaising with relevant parties such as external auditors

To be a Successful Candidate

To be a successful candidate, you need to possess:

• At least a Degree majoring in Accounting and / or Finance, or other relevant disciplines


•  Professional qualification such as ACCA / CPA / ICAEW / CIMA would be an added advantage


• Able to work within the tight deadlines and dynamic environment


• Able to write and speak fluently in English and Malay/Mandarin


• Able to work independently and also as a team


• Being sharp, diligent and mature in handling your work
