We are urgently looking for Mechanical Systems Engineer – APac – Permanent Position, for one of the top German Based Heavy Industry, Fortune 5, in Malaysia. This position needs super urgent attention.

Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor
Position: Senior – APAC
Travelling: 50 % – APAC, Africa & Germany

the role

• 
  

  Ensure that all mechanical systems provide adequate functionality at required reliability with minimum cost of ownership in compliance with internal and external regulations.

  
  


• 
  

  Support the implementation of a strategy for sourcing, engineering, maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems in a standardised way.

  
  


• 
  

  Support On-site Operations teams to improve reliability of the plant assets – Train the technical competence of Area Mechanical Maintenance Engineers in the On-site & develop and/or review all major modifications and configuration changes to the mechanical systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Operation, engineering, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems including :

  
  

  – static equipment, rotating equipment (incl. compressors, steam turbines, expansion turbines) and piping and piping components

  
  

the requirement

• Experience in designing, operating, maintaining; troubleshooting static and rotating equipment & systems


• 
  

  Broad technical knowledge of Mechanical Systems, specifically Rotating Equipment (compression, pumps, steam turbines) and Static equipment (Adsorbers, Columns and Vessels, Valves & Piping).

  
  


• 
  

  Awareness of Safety systems with knowledge of hazards involved in operation and maintenance of mechanical systems in the plant

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance techniques including the use of SAP PM to manage these processes.
