My client is a well known Malaysian Engineering company who has project management skills, tunnelling expertise and engineering knowledge. Based on their past projects, the group has always completed their projects on schedule and budget.

The role has arisen to the company securing a major project.

The main duties of the position are –

• Attend to technical and managerial matters for the project by developing solutions to problems with the application of M&E design and construction techniques.


• Planning of work and resources with particular reference to work programme to ensure timely progress.


• Review, evaluate and monitoring of the M&E design and the construction works progress to ensure its quality and on time delivery.


• Review comment and ensure that M&E works qualities are carried out in accordance to drawings, specification and relevant design guidelines.


• Oversee proactive management with inter-disciplinary coordination, procurement, costing performance, QAQC, planning and programming.


• Liaise with consultant, clients, authorities and stakeholders to attain project requirements and obtain approval.


• Oversee and intigrate value engineering, timely and cost effective solutions to technical querries and implement design changes and on site construction resolutions.


• Close coordination with other sections to ensure effective teamwork on interphasing works.


• Provide relevant information and reports to immediate superior regulatory person.


• Manage M&E Design and construction in ensuring it is implemented effectively and efficiently.


• Review temporary work designs including architectural building related structures.

Skills required –

• Minimum of 20 years working experience in M&E.


• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.


• Good communication skills and demonstrated leadership skills.
