Client is a renowned international bank incorporated in Malaysia which provides a full range of banking services including Islamic finance

The Role

Client is currently searching for an Operational Risk Management, AVP be part of their exciting team. You will report to the Operational Risk Management, VP.

Duties

• Executing and reviewing the implementation and deployment of the Operational Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) module on a Groupwide basis.


• Reviewing the sector business units Key Risk Indicators (KRI) by assessing the relevant indicators and its threshold and providing feedback for further enhancements to the KRIs.


• Reviewing and validating the accuracy and completeness of operational risk incidents captured in the Incident Management and Data Collection (IMDC).


• Oversee the effective escalation and reporting of operational risk issues and exposures that warrant attention with appropriate actions to the Executive Risk Committee, Risk Management Committee and Group Operational Risk Management Committee.


• Supporting the Group Chief Risk Officer and his strategic initiatives for the Group Risk Function. The responsibilities include supporting the Group Chief Risk Officer in areas of strategy, risk and high-level confidential demands of the Group and Senior Management.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Business Administration or other related field


• Minimum 2 year(s) working experience in Risk Management


• Familiar in Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Lost Event Data (LED), Key Risk Indicator (KRI) and Business Continuity Management (BCM)
