The Company

Client is a renowned international bank incorporated in Malaysia which provides a full range of banking services including Islamic finance

The Role

Client is currently searching for an VP Project Manager, to be part of their exciting team. You will report to the Head of Department.

Duties

• Responsible for assessing, creating and gaining signoff of Project plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central Project issue log


• Coordinate with Technology and other functional teams to deliver consistent and efficient process / platform enhancements, providing hands-on support and issue escalation as needed


• Oversee Project plans and help ensure they meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents


• Create the project risk management plan


• Work with Project Sponsors to document business case / cost benefit analysis

Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 10+ years experience with technology and/or project management related responsibilities in a financial services institution is required and project manager certification is a plus.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to succinctly convey information to senior management are expected.
