Our Client is one of the top three Construction firms in Malaysia with over 300 people in the Civil & Structural division. Delivering over 1 billion in value on projects, last 5 years they have had a very strong project pipeline of over 4 billion in value. This coming year, they will be witnessing projects of over 6 billion in value.


about the role:


Our client is looking to hire a very senior professional for the role of Assistant General Manager – Technical Department with strong Infrastructure experience in both design and construction.


duties:


  • Work directly with the General Manager and develop key strategic plans for the company’s future project pipelines.

  • Responsible for managing, supervising and developing the technical teams reporting to him.

  • Work closely with different project departments to ensure the timely delivery of the projects.

skills & experience:


  • Must have over 20 years of Infrastructure experience in both design and construction (80/20).

  • Experience in managing LRT/MRT projects with bridge design consulting is most preferred.

  • Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent but Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also preferred.

  • Must be registered with the Board of Engineers.

  • Have experience in leading and managing the technical department.
