Our client
An established local Oil/Gas conglomerate seeking an enterprising Group Accounting Manager to be part of their growing team and expansion plans .

the role

• Responsible for the day-to-day accounting duties, Group consolidated results.


• Ensure compliance, maintenance and continuous improvement on all financial aspects.


• Produce scheduled financial reports, analysis, Board & BAC presentation materials on a timely manner.


• Produce any other reports which may be required from time to time.


• Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors, statutory bodies, etc.


• To lead, coach and supervise subordinates in achieving the department’s objectives.


• To undertake other job responsibilities as and when required by the Management.


• Maintenance of financial reporting system


• Well versed and hands-on experiences on accounts consolidation


• High level of attention to detail required to ensure report accuracy


• Strong numerical and analytical skills required


• Proven ability to work under pressure and tight deadline


• Good organizational and communication skill


• Energetic and hardworking individual with an ability to motivate teams

the boss / team
You will report to the Financial Controller, and work in a team of 4.

Your profile

• Degree in accountancy or any professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, MACPA, etc)


• A member of Malaysian Institute of Accountancy


• Worked with Big 4 audit firm is an advantage, or at least 5 years in group financial reporting in public listed companies.


• SAP and/or BPC system experience is an advantage
