Randstad is currently partnering with an organisation that provides general loan financing services. It also engages in trading in electrical home appliances and other consumer durable products on hire purchase terms. The company is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager Application Supports. Whereby, the candidate is required to work hand in hand with the Manager to manage as well to lead the Application Team.


Duties


Day to day support to users and able to troubleshoot database and application problems


To manage and involved with the various Project taken by the organisation, and to initiate action plans to improve the overall system


Review and implement new or existing policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency.


Responsible for supporting, maintaining and optimizing applications operations; as well to ensure all documentations are kept properly.


Skill and Experience


Strong analytical skills and organisational skills, able to use and understand data analysis


Know how to prioritize and solve problems of various tasks within a specific time.


Able to work under pressure and independently, as well a fast learner;


Good communication skills and must be able to converse and write in English.


Strong knowledge on the following


  • PL/SQL scripting (mandatory)

  • Oracle and MYSQL

  • NET programming and logic

  • Toad for Oracle

  • Crystal Report

  • UNIX/LINUX Command

Possess a Bachelor Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent


Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferable from financial service industry
