MEP Senior Manager - Kuala Lumpur

My client is a multi disciplinary consulting practice specialising in the fields of Civil, Structural & full Building Services engineering design. They rely on geographic spread and collective resource to deliver projects in the UK, Middle East, Africa, the Sub Continent & South East Asia.

The role has arisen due to an increased number of projects and you will be required to eventually build and develop your own MEP team.

Duties will include –

• Advisingthe Managing Director of any technical aspects of mechanical services that may affect construction progress.


• Continually review the contractors construction schedule during the progress of site works with regards to MEP services and report to the Project Director on the same.


• Manage the day to day work of the MEP side of the business.


• Take part in risk workshops and report amy risks associated with MEP installations or general projects to the Managing Director.


• Review contractors installation method statements.


• Review contractors shop drawings against the design drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to the Managing Director with comments/approval within the specified contractual period.

Your Skills and experience will include –

• Previous MEP experience.


• Highrise experience.


• Demonstrable experience of leading an MEP site supervision team.


• Chartered through a relevant and appropriate institution.


• Demonstrable experience of working in multi-disciplinary construction teams.
