3D animator

Location: Skudai, Johor, Malaysia
 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for complex character animation


• Demonstrated expertise in the following: Animation, Rigging, Sketching, and Drawing skills


• Familiarity with major animation packages


• Work with team establishing character movement design


• Take models or rigged models (set up for animation) to finished animation

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a 3D Animator (Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply for this position.)


• Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Animation or related field


• Excellent knowledge and skills in Maya is highly preferred


• Excellent knowledge in traditional animation principles such as staging, anticipation, exaggeration and etc.


• Knowledge in technical aspects of rigging and skinning characters for animation


• Exceptional skills in animating the human form, giving character weight, mood, personality, and believability


• Ability to use acting skills, which brings character to life, as well as clearly to communicate simple ideas with which an audience can emphatize

Additional Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Bahasa and English)


• Strong work ethics and great sense of humor is essential


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team


• Must remain open to feedback and professional critcism


• Must be able to embrace changes, fast learner


• Must be able to deliver all tasks on schedule


• Creativity is a must
