Accountant (Finance Manager) - Kuala Lumpur

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Reporting to the General Manager of Finance to oversee day to day financial operations and hospital information system.

  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the financial and accounting systems as well as make recommendations for improvements.

  • Establish and monitor annual operation budget, yearly forecast, cash flow and revisions in accordance with sound accounting and budgeting principles.

  • Plan, organize and coordinate the preparation of reports with accurate analysis for management, shareholders and external parties with accurate costing and analysis of Company’s operations.

  • Implement appropriate changes, in line with the requirement of any new Government regulations and procedures.

  • Liaise with public auditors, government authorities, bankers, company’s secretary and other service providers.

  • Provides coaching and mentoring to subordinates and staff development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (CA/CIMA or MICPA).

  • Candidates with Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) or ACCA membership will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum 8 years of working experience.

  • Experience in Health Care industry will be an added advantage.

  • Responsible, dedicated and able to work under minimum supervision.

  • Good in Excel financial modeling and analysis or other computerized accounting system.
