about the role:

Our client is looking to hire Lead Bridge Engineers with strong bridge design background and an extremely good project management and handling skills.

The role requires a strong ‘hands on’ approach and the ability to apply professional engineering knowledge and experience to deliver high valued prestigious projects.

duties:

• Head the Bridge department in all the bridge projects.


• Responsible for bridge design review and analysis.


• Coordinate and manage the bridge engineers.


• Coordinate and liaison with the government authorities and clients and consultants.


• Attend design review meetings at both project level and government level.


• Ensure that the bridge designs are cost-effective and comply with client specifications and statutory regulations.


• Liaise/coordinate with other disciplines/departments to resolve interface problems for multi-disciplinary projects.


• Lead pre-planning and design meetings with clients and stakeholders.

skills & experience:

• Must have over 10 years of Bridge Design experience.


• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent but Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also preferred.


• Must be registered with the Board of Engineers.


• Have experience in managing team of 5 and above.


• Proactive and dynamic at work.


• Understand the importance of client handling and coordination.
