My client is a major Malaysian construction and Property Developer company with high value projects all over the country. They have a project pipeline value of over 1bn and have recently secured a new project worth 500 Million. The business works on both private and government projects however this vacancy is to focus on a SHOPPING MALL PROJECT.

The role –

The main aspect of the position is to be responsible for the buildings facilities management and to lead a team of technical officers, supervisors and contractors.

Your duties will include –

• Plan and execute corrective or preventive maintenance programmes.


• Implement efficiency improvement on the operationl process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.


• Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.


• Achieve excellent services to meet client expectations.


• Achieve effective, economic and safe operations of all Electrical Services’ equipment and system by the team of technical officers and technicians.


• Achieve effective, economic and safe operations of all Electrical Services’ equipment and system by the team of technical officers and technicians.


• Providing feasible solutions and coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.


• Conduct regular inspection of existing Electrical installation to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidlines.


• To ensure all works carried out safely and in accordance with safety procedures.

Skills and experience –

• Must have at least 12 years of relevant M&E experience.


• Previous shopping mall experience.


• Building facilities management experience.


• Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.


• Must be able to speak and write English as you will be in regular contact with people from all over the world.
