about the company; Randstad are working with a well known Main contractor with HQ in PJ (Kuala Lumpur) – our client have delivered MRT, Rail, Depots, Hospitals and Airport projects and are well known in the civil building works industry. They also have a fast growing Developer side which has an exciting pipeline of high rise projects, commercial and condominium.

Project Pipeline includes

• Port & Marine infrastructure works – RM 250m


• Infrastructure works on Double Track extension project (T2) – RM 250m


• 6 x High rise mixed development (In house design and build) – RM 520m


• LRT station civil works – RM 240m

about the role

Contract Manager: You will experience in post contract and be involved in claims, contractual claims, Case studies and Disputes. Dependant on your grade you will manage a small team of QS / Execs and be attached to the Double Track Extension project. You will need to work on site 2 days per week, on site you will have accommodation, car pool and site allowance. The hours of work are 5.5 days per week and HQ is in PJ. Reporting to the Head of the Contracts department you will form part of the leadership team on a high profile project – There is potential for quick career progression as our client is in a strong position to win other Rail & MRT projects and will promote from within.

skills and experience: The ideal candidate will have experience working with a reputable main contractor working on Infra / Civil projects – For example exposure to Rail , MRT, LRT, Bridges, HIghways, Basements, Substructure. You will have 10+ years experience and ideally graduated in a QS or Civil discipline. Your previous project experience should include some larger projects (>100m). We are open to considering ACM / Senior QS candidates who have worked independently and are happy to travel to site.
