Sales Manager




Our client, a well respected moving organization, now seeks to appoint a Sales Manager to be based in Kuala Lumpur.


Overview


The Sales Manager leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business, or will be a recognized expert in a specialized field. In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy and stake holders.


Responsibilities


Responsible for discovery of sales opportunities, presentation and selection of customers in Malaysia & abroad.


Assists in proposal preparation through internal communication with Field Sales executive and provides technical information and processes customer requests for the information on relocations and solution with close communication with customers/companies and internal team such as project manager, HR, Finance and other relevant departments.


Ultimately responsible for sales and P&L.


Desired Skills and Experience


Degree/MBA in Sales, Marketing or any related industries.


Over five years’ experience in logistics, relocations or similar industry.


Knowledge of the industry and having clienteles is a must. Prior sales experience or significant customer interaction is a plus.


Overall understanding of Malaysia customers’ process for project execution in local/international relocations.


Overall understanding of the business, corporate accounts and key accounts are important.


Must be able to generate immediate credibility with customers, other sales people and stake holders.


Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment are required.


Self-starter with high energy levels.


Excellent presentation skills.


Effective written and oral communication skills in English, Malay and Chinese.


Demonstrated ability to succeed in a matrix organization environment.


Creative solution and problem solving skills.


Experience with Key and Corporate accounts is mandatory.
