Our Client is an extremely specialized design consulting firm and is considered as one of the top engineering consultants in KL. With over many years of working presence in Malaysia, they have been delivering bridge projects of over RM 1 billion in value.

about the role:

Our client is looking to hire experienced senior bridge engineers with strong consulting background.

The role requires a strong ‘hands on’ approach and the ability to apply professional engineering knowledge and experience to deliver particularly Cost Efficient Bridge Design for high valued prestigious projects.

duties:

• Undertake structural analysis and design that are cost-effective and comply with client specifications and statutory regulations.


• Prepare and review design sketches and drawings for the bridge projects.


• Perform day-to-day activities to execute design plans.


• Liaise/coordinate with other disciplines/departments to resolve interface problems for multi-disciplinary projects.


• Lead pre-planning and design meetings with clients and stakeholders.

skills & experience:

• Must have over 5 years of Bridge Design consulting experience.


• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent but Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also preferred.


• Must be registered with the Board of Engineers.


• Have experience in managing 2 – 3 people.
