Objectives         
• To lead and ensure effective operations of the Research & Consultancy business unit and achieve its allocated annual income target.
• To maintain status of Savills as a market leader locally and regionally.
• To be responsible for market studies, feasibility analysis and research reports.
• To ensure the timely delivery of press releases and write-ups in the press/various publications to gain strategic publicity coverage for the firm.
                 
Duties and responsibilities        
• Delivery and communication to Investment and Asset Management teams on regional and global market research on the Malaysia real estate market.
• Conduct general economic and demographic research to assist in the development of investment strategies and plans for clients.
• Gather research and market trends, data, and stories about Malaysia real estate market.
• Conduct real estate financial analysis.
• Work with Investment and Asset Management teams to deliver econometric and financial models for the forecasting of real estate and capital markets.
                 
Required Qualifications & Experience  
• Minimum qualification: Degree in Real Estate, Economics, Accounting & Finance or in other relevant qualifications
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience in feasibility studies and financial cashflow modeling.
• Experience in consultancy/advisory
• Good knowledge of the Malaysia property markets
• Must have strong writing ability plus analytical, communicative and organizational skills
