About the Company

Our client is an Australian based company assisting mobile network operators, financial institutions and third party content providers deploy wireless data services in Asia-Pacific. 
  


About the Role

Mid-level Java Developer must have experience in using Spring Framework. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you’ll be working from 9am – 6pm on Monday – Friday. You’ll be responsible to gather and analyze requirements, produce technical designs, create the application, conduct software testing, implement the software solution and support production issues.
 


Duties


  • To design enterprise class system and scalable data model.

  • To troubleshoot product issues in development, test and production environments.

  • To proactively identify and escalate risks / issues and provides suggestions on how to resolve them.

  • To work closely with the business and product teams for feature specifications.

  • To work closely with the operations and infrastructure teams to setup and deploy solution.

  • To solve technical challenges and build better software.

  • To provide regular status updates to supervisor.


Skills & Expereince

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems management, or related field;

  • Minimum 4 years and above working experience

  • Java 5 or above experience 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles, componentized development

  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases

  • Experience in Spring framework

  • Excellent problem solving skills
