We are urgently hiring for a Production Manager – Permanent, for one of the top US based heavy industry/fabricators in Malaysia. The Job Description is provided below
  
the role

Reporting to : MD, Singapore
To ensure smooth Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Scheduling and Delivery.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage production line to meet weekly production schedules and ensure 100% flow lane adherence, ensure the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products and monitor production efficiency and minimize wastages.

• Create and manages a culture of continuous improvement, installing and successfully executing advanced visual, flow manufacturing systems.
• Responsible for implementing cost improvement programs through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen techniques and drive successful business excellence programs for manufacturing.

 
the experience
The successful candidate will have at least 9 years work experience which includes at least 3 years managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
  
• Proven track record in change management and delivery of accelerated business growth and high performance operation results
•  Strong knowledge & experience in plant operation performance in terms of production, engineering and maintenance.
• Sound leadership in managing people, system, procedures and discipline in manufacturing environment.
• Excellent leadership, problem solving, integration and interpersonal skills.
• Able to build a strong culture of teamwork and align departmental goals to the Company’s strategic objectives.
• Working knowledge of best manufacturing practices including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and TPM is added advantage.
