Key Responsibilities
– To support the Maintenance/Engineering supervisor to administer the maintenance/engineering operations in the normal day to day conduct of the business according to the standard operating procedures
– To do preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas and hotel property on weekly, monthly, quarterly basis and timely and proper action to ensure that maintenance standards are met
– Performs all tasks according to established controls and systems
– Perform all duties in compliance with fire prevention and fighting procedures
– Interacts daily with the Front Office Supervisor and Executive Housekeeper to ensure room availability
– Make sure be checked undue delay and proper investigations are performed to determine the cause
– To ensure maximum protection and security to life and person of the hotel"s guests and employees and that their properties are safeguarded against loss/damage and fire extinguisher to ensure that all are in good working condition and to report to the higher authority (preferably General Manager) on any item or equipment that is faulty
– Perform any assignment as delegated by the Chief Engineer as competently as possible and fulfilling special duties which may be assigned by Management from time to time  

Requirements
– Malaysian citizen
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Should exert sound judgement, discretion and preserve confidentiality
– Able to work in teams
– Ability to meet deadlines
