Job summary
As Digital Marketing Consultant you engage with client marketing and IT leaders and help them transform their digital marketing capabilities. With your solid understanding of how new and emerging digital technologies impact consumers and enterprises, you help marketing leaders understand, react to and preempt the changes that digital technology is causing in their world. You shape digital transformation programs that drive their business success in a digital age. You bring deep technical architecture understanding of major marketing clouds/platforms, with experience in the telecommunications sector. Youll be providing architectural input to requirements gathering, use-case development and business development activities such as proposals and presentations. Youll manage design authority interaction with senior business stakeholders and IT development teams to create solution models and architectures aligned to marketing objectives and goals. Youll bring significant CRM, marketing and customer insight experience from a successful career with an agency, consultancy or industry background.
This role requires Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in several of the following technology capabilities:
- Proven experience of leading architecture teams and working with project delivery leads
- Strong communication and presentation skills – the ability to translate technical into business language for senior client executives
- Experience with marketing platforms e.g. IBM, Oracle, Adobe, Salesforce and willingness to expand your expertise
- Technical architecture expertise for Unica
- Architecting enterprise marketing automation solutions in the marketplace, including but not limited to web and email, data cleansing and standardization, portals, applications
- Expert knowledge of all facets of digital sales and marketing, including targeted display, personalization, social, SEO & SEM, Analytics, eMail
- Guide client marketing teams on best practices of using digital marketing technology
This role also involves the following:
- Possesses a strong executive presence with the ability to establish credibility in the first client meeting.
- Establishes project vision and objectives with the client with a confident point of view. Leads the proposal team through the development of project scope and approach to solution the clients issue.
- People Management: Mentors junior consultants, engagement managers and other more junior delivery consultants on the proposal and/or delivery teams as appropriate.
- Competency: Recognized as an expert in their competency and/or specific offerings.
- Teamplayer, client-facing, results-oriented, strong communicator, can-do attitude and comfortable working in a highly flexible, agile and collaborative environment
- Ability to accommodate extensive travel (60% – 70% or more)
Preferred
Masters Degree
- At least 9 years experience in digital marketing and designing and delivering digital solutions
- At least 4 years experience in selling digital capabilities/strategies
- At least 5 years experience in working with external/internal clients to re-architect enterprise marketing, digital channels and/or front-end functions/capabilities
