Our client is one of the leading building materials manufacturer from Australia and they are currently expanding rapidly across the South East Asia region from its Regional office in Malaysia.
As part of the ambitious growth plans we have the pleasure of recruiting a Regional Sales Manager focusing on Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, India and the Philippines who will have the mandate of generating business growth.
Key responsibilities will involve:
- Responsibility for sales performance in the region and meeting the demands of established strategic growth plan for South East Asia. This will involve both serving the needs/requirements of Key Clients and developing new business relationships
- Preparation of Sales Tools, Benchmarking, Visualisation of applications, Project-reports and the development of close working relationship with the Global HQ where technical support is provided
- Conduct market research that leads to the development and implementation of agreed market entry strategies for identified new markets and/or products.
- To enhance the awareness level of the company products through Distributors, Architects, Dealers, Contractors, Builders and End Users.
The successful applicant:
• An absolute minimum of 6 years experience in a similar function preferably in an MNC, corporate environment. Ideally this will have been selling high value products and building consultative partnerships.
• A demonstrable track record of driving Sales and over-achieving Sales targets
• Strong personality with excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Willing to travel both locally and abroad (60%)
