Key Responsibilities:

1. TECHNICAL MANAGER / TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
Your role is to provide technical management and leadership in the execution of Fleet Management Services. You will be required to carry out duties including, but not limited to:
- Leading a team of skilled engineers
- Surveillance and performance analysis process and quality
- Root Cause Failure Analysis process and quality
- Customer satisfaction for the Performance and Condition Based Monitoring
Qualifications:
- You should possess at least 10 years experience in gas turbine operations and maintenance
- Possess an Engineering Degree or equivalent with experience in the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of gas turbines in the oil and gas industry
- Experience in Turbo-machinery Surveillance, Overhaul and Turbine controls and instrumentation preferred
- You must have working knowledge of both technical and theoretical in mechanical and control aspects of gas turbine based packages in compressor / generator type applications

2. FLEET MANAGER

Your role is to provide maintenance management and leadership in the execution of Fleet Management Services. You will be required to carry out duties including, but not limited to :
- Be the single point accountability for all issues relating to the maintenance of the equipment
- Responsible for scheduling, training, quality of work and hiring Field Service Representatives and Technicians for planned maintenance and closing out maintenance actions
- Ensure that the contractual schedules and key performance indicators are met or exceeded
- Responsible for the preparation of forward looking maintenance procedures, plans and parts
Qualifications :
- You should possess at least 10 years experience in gas turbine operations and maintenance
- Possess an Engineering Degree or equivalent with experience in the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of gas turbines in theoil and gas industry
- Experience in Turbo-machinery maintenance, Overhaul and Turbine controls and instrumentation preferred
- You must have working knowledge of both technical and theoretical in mechanical and control aspects of gas turbine based packages in compressor / generator type applications

3. TECHNICAL MANAGER (Construction)
Your role is to provide Engineering management and leadership in the rejuvenation of equipment and machinery in an offshore environment.
You will be required to carry out duties including, but not limited to:
- Overall responsibility for the successful execution of the Rejuvenation Program of turbo machinery package
- Lead a team of skilled engineers
- Work with and supervise a panel of sub-contractors
- Review technical reports and take action steps to proceed with the Rejuvenation project
- Conduct site technical evaluation
- Provide on-site solutions during restoration works
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for the various projects
- Liaise with principals and customers to resolve safety, commercial and technical issues
Qualifications :
- Possess a minimum Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Working knowledge of both practical and theoretical aspects in Turbo-machinery Surveillance, Overhaul and Turbine Controls and Instrumentation
- Must possess good communication and negotiation skills
- Familiar with contractual terms & conditions
- Familiar with local authority regulatory requirements
- You should have at least 10 years experience in mechanical, Ebel, maintenance and operations of gas turbines with offshore installation and commissioning exposure

"The American Embassy is seeking for two individuals for the position of Voucher Examiner in the Finance Section."

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Responsible for the complete voucher examining process (except final review and certification) of a considerable variety of average to moderately complex administrative type of vouchers invoices and claims. Most of them involve relatively uncomplicated transactions with reasonably well-defined bases for payments covering recurring types and/or limited varieties of goods and services. May also be required to handle Value Added Tax (VAT) reporting, control, and voucher processing. Incumbent must possess specialized knowledge of host country VAT regulations and procedures in order to advise employees and post management on VAT issues.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.

1. Education required: University degree in finance and accounting, commerce, business administration, marketing, statistics, social sciences, education, development studies, social work and social administration, law, or public administration is required.
2. Work Experience: Two years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, auditing, cashiering, book keeping, and voucher examining, is required.
3. Language: Level IV English ability (fluent writing, reading and speaking) is required.
4. Knowledge: Familiarity with handling vouchers, VAT or cashiering transactions with public offices including large institutions is required
5. Skills and Abilities: Must possess considerable skills in articulating complex issues orally and in writing, (e.g., to explain disallowance of claims or deductions in vendor invoices) through comprehending and properly applying technical regulations and requirements to the voucher examining process. Must be skilled in using the computer (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access) to process transactions in a financial data base. Must possess considerable skill (tact and diplomacy) in interacting with host government officials as it relates to following up on VAT submissions and refunds.

SELECTION PROCESS

When equally qualified, US Citizen Eligible Family Members (USEFMs) and U.S. Veterans are given preference. Therefore, it is essential that the candidate specifically address the required qualifications above in the application.

ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA

1. Management will consider nepotism/conflict of interest, budget, and visa status in determining successful candidacy.

2. Current employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply.

3. Current Ordinarily Resident employees with an Overall Summary Rating of Needs Improvement or Unsatisfactory on their most recent Employee Performance Report are not eligible to apply.

4. Currently employed US Citizen EFMs who hold a Family Member Appointment (FMA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their appointment.

5. Currently employed NORs hired under a Personal Services Agreement (PSA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their employment unless currently hired into a position with a When Actually Employed (WAE) work schedule.
