Job Description
Remote Technical specialist Job description Our remote technical support center is desk bound which delivers technical support to 6 countries in ASEAN. ( Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. ) . The main product that we support is Lenovo (IBM) system X servers. Our customer can be from small and medium business to large corporations. Our standard support hours are from 08:00 to 00:00. Roles & Responsibilities: • Performs Server break/fixes through tickets raised from live call by using IBM incident management tools – RCMS • To create and follow up PMR until the problem is fully resolved, • Maintains and meet SLAs and SLOs for all allocated work items • Ensure customer satisfaction on every contact with IBM. • Perform monthly clocking and hitting targeted utilization % • Ensure all conversation is update in the incident management tools • To share technical knowledge with the team. Requirements: • Minimum of 1 years full time IT related experience in an enterprise environment • Demonstrated track record as a team player • Good presentation skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (listen, spoken and written) • Demonstrable knowledge across multiple platforms, technologies and processes • Required • Diploma Holder • At least 1 years’ experience in IT related experience in an enterprise environment • At least 1 year experience in IT analysis experience • At least 1 year experience in Significant, demonstrable knowledge across server and storage platforms. • Able to communicate fluently in the required language Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology MCSE/MCITP Additional information Microsoft Windows operating systems Desktop and mobile computing Lotus Notes Web browser technologies Excellent Communication Skills – English oral and written Relevant IT experience within IBM or external e.g. Customer facing roles, IT Management and Project Management Work on rotational ( shift) basis.
