Sales Coordinator

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retrieve orders from customer email, website/EDI and acknowledge

  • Processes orders received by fax, EDI, mail or personally from customers

  • Checks inventory control and reply customer on delivery date, quantity or unit price discrepancy and any additional information needed by customer for all the orders

  • Arrange internal transfer of stock if any available stock from other customer or any advance from customer

  • Initiate Purchase Requisition to Purchasing Department if necessary and update packing information in SL8 according to packing list provided by warehouse

  • Print DO checklist for checking and ensure all details are correct

  • Print Invoice and DO to pass to the Shipping Section to co-ordinate for deliveries to customers

  • Control stock and monitor outstanding POs to supplier

  • Liaise with  the Shipping section to optimize  customers’  deliveries

  • Generate DO to warehouse for packing

  • Raise C.I.Rs in the event of  Quality Defective  Issues

  • Samples Arrangements

QUALIFICATION & JOB SPECIFICATION
 Degree or Diploma with at least 2 year related experience
Able to work under pressure
Strong negotiation, communication & interpersonal skills
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel
