The Company
Our client is a Multi-National Engineering and Construction firm with several large scale projects across Malaysia. They are looking for an experienced Resident Architect for their project site in Kuala Lumpur
The Role
- Familiar with Conquas’s and/or Qlassic’s assessment certification. Well versed in the uniform building laws and regulatory requirements. Sound engineering knowledge and practical engineering experience in construction works.
- Preparation of correspondence in relation with technical and management issues.
- Review work-in-progress and work performed, resolve issues, report defective work and approve the contractor’s testing procedure.
- Undertake quality control and defect inspections of the works in site
- Interface and familiarize with specification, design drawings, material and shop drawing submission
- Review contractors Method statement, Inspection and Test Plans
- Respond to contractor’s requests for information, shop drawing and other submissions
- Attend Site Meetings with different parties and resolve technical problems on site
- Lead and supervise an architecture team.
The Experience:
- Minimum Diploma in Architecture
- At least 8 years working experience.
- Good technical knowledge in architectural, building, civil & structural and services.
- Required languages: English, Malay or Chinese.
- Good technical knowledge in steel structure, architectural, building, civil & structural and services.
