The Role


Client is currently searching for a Islamic Treasury for Islamic Banking in day ­to ­day operation. You will report to the Chief Operations Officer.


Duties



  • Assist in the overall capital and liquidity risk management of The Bank and Saadiq and reporting to Alco.

  • Provide advisory support to businesses on major transactions or planning initiatives to optimize the capital and liquidity position.

  • Assist in Alco pack preparation and provide the overall Alco management support.

  • Assist in the implement of projects and initiatives in relation to One Bank Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP).Assist in capital management of both the conventional and Islamic banks including the preparation and monitoring of capital plans.

  • Provide value added capital and liquidity support in relation to business plan & strategies.

  • Provide assistance and support on the annual ICAAP process.

  • Ad-Hoc Assignments in relation to the implementation of new Basel regulations in relation to capital and liquidity risk management.

  • Attend to queries from Bank Negara Malaysia and Group on Balance Sheet issues including capital and liquidity risk management.

  • Prepare and submit regular reports to Group in relation to capital and liquidity management.

  • Assist in the issuance of Sub-debt and Sukuk Tier 2 capital issuance.

  • Perform analytics of Balance Sheet ratios/limits to ensure both The Bank & Saadiq are in compliance with the relevant Group policies and BNM regulations.


Skills & Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant banking experience

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or Finance/ Economics/ Mathematics or Actuarial Studies

  • Excellent communication both verbal and written, problem solving, resourceful, a team player.

  • Team player, positive thinking, trustworthy and honest.
