about the company:

Randstad is very pleased to be the recruitment partner of a very old prestigious multinational construction engineering firm in Malaysia. One of the oldest specialist in Pre-stressing, they are world’s specialist in prestressing, cable-stayed structures, construction methods and structural repair and maintenance.

about the role:

Our client is looking for candidates for the position of Design Engineer. You would be responsible to coordinate site activities and produce design drawings for clients.

The role would allow you to gain a strong ‘hands on’ approach and the ability to apply professional engineering knowledge and experience to deliver particularly Cost Efficient Bridge Projects.
duties:

• Handle bridge and rail related projects.


• Able to coordinate structural requirements to meet project tender, submission and construction schedule.


• Produce detailed design to meet clients’ needs.


• Resolving site technical issue following through with projects.

skills & experience:

• Must have over 2 years of experience in both Design and site.


• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent but Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also preferred.


• Must have site experience.


• Must be willing to travel.


• Candidates with one year of experience are also encouraged to apply.


• Must have the right attitude at work and have the passion to excel and grow in career as a leader.
